Ecolution Artistry Eco-Friendly Chicken Fryer with High Dome Glass Lid Awesome Pan

Best non-stick pan I have ever had!!!, (What's this?)
Love, love this pan! Great size and feel. The handles are great. Truly nonstick, cleaning is a dream! Eggs, pancakes, anything you cook inside slides right off. My other pans are Martha Stewart brand and are no where near as good. The fact that it is made environmentally safe for the planet and safe for us as well is fantastic. Buying "Green" products is extremely important. After weeks of using, the bottom hasn't turned brown like my other pans. It still has the pretty green leaves design :) Looks brand new.
    Eco-So What!, (What's this?)
good but not great, (What's this?) This truly is a non-stick pan. And I like that is eco friendly. But the outside finish isn't very good. Mine has been wearing off on the bottom. Also anyplace that a drip goes down the outside, the finish bubbles up and comes off. The inside is showing wear but so far hasn't developed any deep scars. I purchased this pan a month ago and the first one arrived bent with a loose handle. Sent it back and the second one was packaged identical to the first one and the box was again beat up but the pan survived.
Awesome Pan, (What's this?) This pan is great. It cooks food evenly, cleaning is a breeze, and I love that it is made out of a non-toxic nonstick material. Have recommend this product to any of my friends who have been in the market for new cookware.
Ecolution Artistry Eco-Friendly Chicken Fryer with Glass Lid, I should have ordered a 12-in skillet instead of 14-in because 14-in is way too big for my stove. It is too difficult to fit into my sink to wash. It is an excellent product. It can be cleaned easily except for its bulky size. It cooks well.
Skillet with glass lid, (What's this?) This I ordered for my daughter who had just bought a new glass top stove and her old skillet skated about the surface of the glass top. She has been extremly pleased with this skillet and the price is right.
Beautiful Pan, (What's this?) I am very pleased with the way this pan cooks evenly. The pan also cleans very easily. I love that it has two handles for heavier food items. The only complaint I have is, the bottom of the pan has begun chipping already, pretty much after first use. AND the thing is, I have babied this pan because the bottom is so beautiful that I was extra careful, to no avail.

Cuisinart 625-30D Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 12-Inch Everyday Pan with Medium Dome Cover cuisinart 12 pan

cuisinart 12 pan, (What's this?) this pan is great I used it the next day after receiving it. It cooks even and it cooks food faster than my other frying pan. so that will help with energy costs. I plan on buying more of this brand pan.
Decent But Wouldn't Buy Again, (What's this?) In many respects, this is a good every day pan. The nonstick surface works well, and the size is just right for sauteing chicken breasts, greens, or a large omelet. However, the bottom of the pan is warped after just four months. Because it won't lie flat on the burner, the pan jiggles. It is enough to be annoying, plus food cooks slightly unevenly. Not a big deal with vegetables, but kind of pain when cooking dishes like fish. Next time I will invest in a thicker, higher quality pan.
Great Pan, (What's this?) For the most part, I have been skeptical about buying non-stick pans in the past, simply because I have heard so many unfortunate things about them, from durability concerns to heat distribution. And I have been very impressed and satisfied with the Cuisinart Stainless Steel pans I have had for a while. But the idea of dropping an egg on a dry pan and it not sticking, eventually persuaded me.

I already own a 12" Stainless Steel Everyday Pan and it is great. It is the pan that is used most often in my kitchen. And today I finally tried out the non-stick version. And I love it. I can't speak to the lifespan of the non-stick surface yet, but I can definitely say that it performs in the same way as its stainless steel counterpart but it is obviously non-stick, much easier to clean, and requires much less fat if any at all.

It is a sturdy, heavy pan that is perfect for the everyday and/or serious cook, especially if you are trying to save a little money but get the quality that is comparable to much more expensive cookware such as All-Clad. You can cook quick meals, roasts, or braises (it is oven safe up to 500 degrees F) with very little clean-up. And for forty bucks, it is a great deal. It's worth every penny, for sure. And if you are trying to cut down on fat intake, this is a great way to do it.

    I highly recommend this pan.
Perfect birthday gift, I just received this pan as a birthday gift from a friend. I've been putting off purchasing this pan or a pan like it for years but have often thought about buying one. The name "Everyday Pan" is perfect. I've had it for just over a week & the only meal I've cooked without using it was pasta. It's so handy, it just might continue to live on top of my stove most days.
Great Pan, (What's this?) I've had this pan for about 3 months and I absolutely love it. I literally use it every day. It is very versatile. Can be used on top of the stove or in the oven. I even use it to serve when it is just my husband and I. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to cook.
The most annoying pan in the world., (What's this?) This is one of the most disappointing pans I have ever owned. The pan is disappointing because it has a great cooking surface and cooks food wells, but it suffers from a fatal flaw. The first time you put this pan to heat, it is going to warp and you will the most annoying pan in the world.

I have a flat top cook surface, and every time I do anything inside of the pan, be flip a piece of chicken, or stir a sauce, the entire pan starts spinning like an old record. Add to that the warped bottom of the pan and you have a product not worth buying.
PERFECT PAN, (What's this?) Purchased the Cuisinart Chef's Classic several months ago. Since then I have used this versatile pan daily. It's the perfect size for most everything. Easily goes from browning on top of the stove to finishing off in the oven. Cleans up easily.
Big step up!, (What's this?) Bought this for a friend who has been using "non-stick" pans with all the coating worn off.
Looks, Practicality, Quality and Affordability: All-In-One!, (What's this?) Once again, a huge hurray for Cuisinart!

Impossible Sticker to Remove Inside Pan, (What's this?) I don't know who the rocket scientist at Cuisinart was who made the decision to use a crazy glue-like adhesive for the label that descibes the non-stick interior of this pan - it was impossible to remove! I let the pan soak for over 30 minutes in HOT soapy water, and still had to use a plastic scrubbie pad to completely remove the label from the inside cooking surface of this pan... it was more than frustrating. An hour later after I finally got the label off, I did bake some chicken and the pan worked well.

Emeril Stainless Steel 8-Inch Fry Pan For What It's Worth - I Like It!

Well-built, solid, frying pan., (What's this?)
Beautiful little pan. Just right for those small jobs. Especially if you are single or only two of you. For a stainless pan it is fairly non-stick and washes up beautifully.
Nice, (What's this?) there are several things I like about this pan, it's stainless steel, has a copper core and does the job I bought it for. The one problem is that the pan is very light weight, and the handle is nice and heavy, which means that it's very easy to tip while you're cooking. Still, at it's price, I can't really complain.
nice heavy small pan, (What's this?) So far I like this pan. It's my first stainless fry pan and am getting the hang of it. I found that pre-heating is key.
For What It's Worth - I Like It!, FWIW, I have only used this Emeril 10 inch stainless steel with copper and aluminum and stainless bottom once! That was tonight. This is NOT the Emeril Pro Clad which I have not been able to find in a single fry pan. Since this pan was on sale today at Macy's for $29.99 and even less with coupon, I decided to give it a try.
Even though I am a 'senior citizen', I have never used a stainless fry pan. I read all the reviews for the different brands and read how many people complained of food sticking, difficult clean up, staining, etc. So, I decided to research exactly how to cook with stainless before ever getting any.
So, bought this today and decided to cook pork chops tonight. The instructions that came with the pan are a little different than what I read about how to cook with stainless on line. I followed the on line directions. I first washed the pan and dried it. Allowed my chops to sit out for about 15 minutes to get closer to room temperature and dried them with paper towel before seasoning them. I then turned my electric glass top stove on to medium and allowed the pan to get hot and then added a small amount of evoo to coat. When that began to shimmer, I added my chops and left them alone for about 6 minutes. After 6 minutes I gently tried to raise one chop and it came right up as did the other one. I turned them over and left them alone again for another 6-7 minutes. I also added chopped onions just after I turned them over. Well, they came out beautifully! Great caramalized onions, nice juicy chops, terrific gravy from the drippings.
Nothing stuck nor burned. I immediately wiped the pan out and filled with hot water and placed back on the same burner to sit while we ate. After dinner I washed it up and noticed just a few spots on the pan where the meat had sat. I used a tiny amount of barkeepers friend on a sponge and wiped it with hot water and it came perfectly clean. No scrubbing. It is nice and shiny just like it was before I used it.
Now if I can do this, I am sure better cooks and even those like me can use this pan with ease.
    Like it!, (What's this?)
what a joke .., Rarely give reviews, but this is the worst. Within a minute the sides of the pan started smoking on a medium heat with only two tablespoons of EVOO. That's all it took to know it could not distribute heat evenly. Doesn't have a wide enough base to keep it from toppling over easily. Poor design.
Emeril Fry Pans can't be beat!, (What's this?)

Emeril Stainless Steel 12-Inch Fry Pan

I have several of this series of fry pans from Emeril and they are wonderful. They do however produce very high heat and it takes some getting used to in the beginning. They are a delight to clean and you just can't get any better than this in a non-stick pan - which I never use.
great, (What's this?) I bought this to supplement a 10 piece set and am happy with it. It does discolour but that is just part of what these pans do. Very nice, substantial, everything I was looking for.
Major Design Flaw!!!, I bought this 8 inch Emeril Stainless fry pan because it was a few dollars cheaper than the 8 inch Emeril Pro-Clad fry pan. Big difference. First off, the aluminum and copper disk on the bottom of this pan looks cheap and does not distribute heat evenly. But the biggest flaw is that the handle is heavier than the rest of the pan making it very difficult to balance on a gas stove top. I couldn't keep it from falling over no matter how I tried. Who is the design wizard that came up with this pan? I sent it back and bought the Pro-Clad version for a few dollars more. The Pro-Clad has three layers of stainless and aluminum all the way up the sides, so heat distributes evenly and the weight and balance are perfect. Much happier now. Not sure if all the Emeril Stainless Fry Pans are handle heavy, but this 8 inch one is a clunker. Don't waste your time or money on this poorly designed pan.
8-inch frying pan, (What's this?) It's not what I expected. Things stick to is and an abrasive has to be used. I have had other products by Emeril before and have been very pleased. Not so much this time.

Anolon Advanced Bronze Collection Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch Open French Skillet Good pan, but shouldn't have label stuck to the middle!

Good pan, but shouldn't have label stuck to the middle!, (What's this?) Very nice pan. I've been using it for a bout a week. Got the Farberware lid Farberware 10-Inch Glass Lid for it which fits nicely. Nonstick is great -- I've cooked eggs and cheese and fried hamburgers without using any oil.

My only complaint is that they came with a "blah blah blah Nonstick" label stuck to the middle of the inside surface with some kind of adhesive. Now this is a stupid, stupid thing to do for so many reasons. Not the least of which is that it puts a chemical adhesive on your food surface.

But that notwithstanding, the adhesive is a permanent-stick adhesive! I tried to peel it off and the paper label separated and left the adhesive with a think layer of paper. I called the company and they said to use olive oil (didn't work) or creamy peanut butter to remove the adhesive. Well, the peanut butter worked pretty well, and I finally got it off.

Rachael Ray Hard Anodized Nonstick 12-Inch Open Skillet, Orange VERY GOOD SET

Fantastic Large Skillet, (What's this?) I added this skillet to the set of Rachael Ray matching cookware and it is great for cooking larger quanties of food. It also gives you more room to turn omlets and browning large roasts. This skillet heats evenly over the entire surface. It needs to be hand washed like any fine cookware. I had hoped for a 12" glass cover, but I had to get one from a cheaper skillet, doesn't match, but works. I am very happy with my purchase.
Good Pan, (What's this?) Very good pan. My wife loves Racheal Ray stuff. Our cabinets are full of her pans.Shipping was fast. Thanks Amazon.
Awesome!, (What's this?) My hubby doesn't like "star powered" products, he thinks they're hokey. However, he LOVES this pan as much as I do. Who cares about the orange, it's the best non-stick pan I've ever used and I've tried at least 6 different brands. I would recommend this line of cookware to anybody.
OK, but ..., We had one of these and really liked it, but then the Teflon started coming off - big time. There were three people in the house using this, so I can't vouch for how the pan was treated, but we do tend to use plastic with Teflon.

In September, I bought another just like it, and I was determined to make sure that only plastic utensils were used with it. After just three months, the Teflon is coming off. I know that the problem is with the pan and not with the users because I was the principal user and the only washer, and I know the others used plastic tools when cooking.

This is a nice-looking large pan that cooks very well, but I don't like eating Teflon.

Speaking of "large," measurements can be deceptive. The 12" on this product refers to the cooking surface, while most other pans measure from the outside rim. This makes it difficult to know what you are getting unless you buy in a store - something I seldom do. Give me Amazon Prime every time.
Misrepresented item, (What's this?) This is a well made, reasonably priced, but, misrepresented skillet.
If a skillet is advertised as a 12 inch skillet, it should have a 12 inch surface to cook on. This skillet actually measures 8 1/2 inches on the bottom. It is 12 inches at the top. I don't cook on the top, so, it was returned. If you are looking for a skillet that has an 8 1/2 inch bottom surface, this 12" skillet is for you.
fry pan, rachel ray, (What's this?) The pan was larger than I expected, but that was OK with me! It is really great - no sticking and easy to use.
VERY GOOD SET, (What's this?) I like the set very much. Easy to clean. I had been worried about the orange handles. I thought they would be to delicate. They are great. Everything cooks great in them. Pans go from stove top to oven. Best set of cookware I owned so far.
3 yrs now and no peeling, still performs very well., This is a well made product. I do not have a dishwasher and always use plastic type utensils. Before now other brands had started to peel and or flake. Heats evenly too.
Fantastic pan, (What's this?) We have had this pan a few weeks and love it so far. The handle does stay cool. It is incredibly easy to clean. The heating is really even, even though that's not always true with our stove. The sides are a bit higher than I'm used to, so for something like pancakes it's a bit harder to flip, but it works great for most things, and the surface makes flipping easy.
Love this pan!!!, (What's this?) I purchased this pan after trying out the smaller 8" skillet. I love it! It is a great size, perfect for cooking a one dish meal for my family. It cleans up really nice even without using a dishwasher (which is not recommended).

Rachael Ray Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch Open Skillet, Orange Terrific Skillet

It's a good product, (What's this?) We've only been using this pan for a month, but so far it lives up to its high ratings. It has made it a pleasure making omelets, and over-easy fried eggs.
Great all purpose pan., This has been an excellent pan. Durable, easy to clean and a good size for many different types of meals.
love these pans, (What's this?) I bought three of these different size pans, and they all cook wonderfully, and clean up very easily. handle stays cool.
You get what you pay for, (What's this?) I have had this skillet for 6 months. It is a good skillet for the price. It is light weight - not so light that it is flimsly, but not as heavy as a better quality skillet.

I have seen the reviews and advertisements on QVC where it cooks eggs so well, but that is not my experience. On my better quality skillets, I don't have to use butter or spray for the eggs to slide off, but with this skillet I do. It does ok on fried eggs; however, scrambled still sticks, even with costant stirring. Last time I scrambled 8 eggs and at least 1 remained stuck to the skillet.

Also, I cook meatloaf patties and they tend to burn on the bottom even on a low heat. Which, of course, they are left under cooked in the middle. On a heavier, better quality skillet, they don't burn on a higher heat and are evenly cooked throughout.

I definitely have to pick and choose what I cook in it or modify my expectations on how the food will turn out. I would not buy this skillet again. I will save up my money for a better quality one.
After furhter review, (What's this?) The Rachael Ray skillet comes with a wrapper that contains way too much information on how to use it. One of the words of wisdom says "do not use oils (except for the one or two they recommend) since their build up will only reduce the skillets performance. So, I did not use my Pam and discovered that my eggs STUCK to the pan regardless of how low or high I had the burner set. Finally I used my Pam and the skillet worked exactly the way I had hoped. So, don't read the jacket with all its instructions and use this pan the way you normally would and it's GREAT.
Likeable, Good Quality Pan--Just Not for Induction Tops, I bought this to replace a basic Calphalon 10" non-stick pan. The first thing I noticed was that even though this is also a 10", the sloping sides of the Rachael Ray meant there is much less flat area at the bottom. Whereas I used to be able to fit three pieces of French toast at a time, now I can really only do two. :-(

As mentioned by another reviewer, this is primarily a breakfast pan. Great for eggs, pancakes, browning sausages, etc. but not heavy enough to sear steaks. I find the non-stick both slippery and durable. Hand washing is a snap, except that scrambled eggs get stuck onto the two exposed metal rivets, so I usually use a nylon brush.

I associate anodized with heavy cookware, but this pan is really quite light.
Rachel Ray 10 inch Pan, (What's this?) Nice pan that has performed very well. Very easy to clean. I would have preferred getting a pan that had a higher temp capability but no issues so far. Good price and quick delivery.
Terrific Skillet, This is a replacement skillet for a similar skillet I purchased. It is just the right size for breakfast and one we use a lot. Easy to clean and lightweight enough for my wife to use as well.
Rachael Ray Skillet, (What's this?) This is everything I was wanting in a skillet. Nonstick small enough to fit the eye of my stove. Light enough for me to carry. Handle is convenient and seems to fit my hand. So far nothing I have cooked with sticks to this pan. I like it because my other lid from another pan fits it. I am thinking about buying the bigger size now because this skillet performs so well.
Great Skillet, (What's this?) Love this pan and the 12" size I purchased at the same time. Hadn't looked at in stores, so I didn't totally know what to expect, but they are very nice...

    Over Easy Omelette Express

my daughter loves it!, (What's this?) I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She recently got her own apartment and loves to cook, I thought this would be a neat gadget for her to use. She made some doughnuts yesterday, cinnamon sugar, chocolate and plain and they were very tasty.
omelet maker, (What's this?) I found that this product cooked on one side and not the other and the omelette is hard to get out without tearing up. I was a little disappointed.
Omelete pan, (What's this?) I would like it better if there was a way to control how hot it cooked. But you plug it in, and it's on. It is too easy to burn the omeletes. I made several, and never could get an omelete without a brown crust on the outside. If I would have taken it out sooner it wouldn't have been completely cooked. I am really disappointed there is no heat control, but the quality of the unit itself is pretty impressive (which is why I still gave it 4 stars).
Over Easy Omelet Maker, (What's this?) I purchased this omelet maker and it worked great the only thing is it gets a little to brown for me,but i will experiment with it further.Good price and I recommend it.
Over Easy Omelets, (What's this?) What a great product. Its design allows you to make fantastic omelets and to include the "goodies" that make each omelet special. I know...
Great one!!!, (What's this?) This is a great way to start (or finish) your day!!! I am trying to eat a "paleo" oriented diet and well, making steak ommelette with bacon doesn't get any easier than with this little piece of machinery.
Well made, but that's about it, (What's this?) I agree with "Retired Guy." By the time the eggs have set, the bottom of the omelet is burned. I have to take the omelet out when it is only half set (no easy task) and nuke it the rest of the way. And even then, the bottom is too brown for me. The pan doesn't hold much filling. I also don't like that the filling gets mixed in with the eggs, and if you use cheese it has to be melted on top after the eggs have set. I prefer all the filling inside with half of the omelet folded over the filling. I'm going to sell it in a garage sale and keep looking for an omelet pan.
NOT PRACTICAL, (What's this?) I purchased this item to replace an electric omelet pan made by Toastmaster(before that it was made by Maxim) THE VERY BEST Omelet maker there is. Unfortunately, the pans only last 5-6 years. I thought this pan could replace it. The fact that you cook on one side, then flip it over and hope that the food is separated and falls into the 2 separated sides ..it is just too clumsy of an item. It has to pivot on a narrow base in order to flip it. It is so much easier just to use a regular pan than all of that separating, flipping etc. I just put it away. No plans to use it again.
Works as advertised., (What's this?) The flip over idea is great.
Superior Omlet Maker, (What's this?) I have had similar units and none ever matched the quality of this one. It is very well made, heats quickly and is extremely easy to use. The nonstick surface is the most durable I have seen; and, the unit is versatile and can be used not only for omelets, but also stuffed tortillas and similar foods. The price is also the most reasonable of similar units. Highly recommended.

Starfrit 11 inch Light Cast Iron Fry Pan

Shocking, All the best properties of a Wok (heat transfer, size, no sticking, very light weight for cast iron, cool handle(s), just wipes clean, and me and my mate are loving everything that comes out of it). This is the finest piece of cookware I have ever used and I am a cook, and I am 61 years old.
Cooks great but ceramic layer wears away fast, While this is still one of my favorite pans to use, I only give it two stars because of the loss of some good sized areas of the ceramic coating. It rusts quickly if it is ever left wet, so I am constantly having to re-oil it due to new patches of exposed cast iron showing up. That being said, this pan is the best I have used for cooking meat; I like cooking stirfry korean food, and chicken curry, and this pan just heats so uniformly and perfectly.
Great Cast Iron Pan, (What's this?) I have loved my cast iron pan. It does not scratch, easy to clean, and very light. I have bought several of them for family members and the bigger size for myself also. I would highly recomment this pan to anyone.
Thank you Starfrit!, (What's this?) I bought both the 11" & 12" skillets! It's not that I don't have a life, ha ha, but these skillets make me VERY HAPPY! We just moved to an area where a gas stove is not really an option so our old HEAVY cast iron skillet made me nervous on the electric ceramic top. We love to cook our proteins by searing/blackening them in the cast iron at high heat & then placing the pan in the oven to finish it off...we can now do this again with our Starfrit cast iron skillets!! YUM...
Starfrit frying pan 11", (What's this?) I had bought a smaller version and have been using it for different things. The most amazing thing it is it makes great eggs over easy. They come out great all the time unless I mess up myself. I now roast veggies in the new one cause it is bigger.
Perfect for Slow Heating Smoothtops, I use the 9.5" every day for frying eggs with healthful coconut oil (ask Dr. Oz).
Pan heats extremely fast, Then I turn it down by 40%. The key is to not cook to high a temperatures as food will burn to the bottom. Also oils oxidize at high temps and are bad for your health.
    So I never deep fry.
As with other ceramic pans don't use metal in them at all, as it will pierce the coating.
Great Until Wife Used High Heat, (What's this?) I loved this!! Heated quickly, cooked evenly, and the ceramic non-stick surface worked great. Then the wife used it on high heat and the surface has some discoloration and sticks. So don't buy it if someone else is going to abuse it. So I do recommend it, but I'm switching to cast iron.
A Great Cooking Tool, (What's this?) I have two of the smaller skillets and wanted the larger one. Cooking in these skillets is so much better. The heat is even and therefore you can cook on a lower heat setting and cleanup is a breeze. I love to cook and these are the best skillets that I have ever used.
Starfrit pans are wonderful!, (What's this?) I love my Starfrit pan. It is 11 inch. Nothing sticks and it is much lighter than my old cast iron pan. It is seasoned well it seems. The 8 inch Excel Steele pan I bought is not so hot. Food sticks unless I use lots of oil.
    Starfrit is the bomb.
Love these pans!, (What's this?) I am over 50 years old and have always done a lot of cooking. I wish that this product was available earlier in my life, because they do a wonderful job. The weight of the pans and heat it brings is perfect. I am glad that I purchased three different Starfrit pans. The preseasoned finish does a great job for non-stick also.

Our new line of light cast iron pans are made in a metal mold, not a sand mold, so we are able to reduce the gauge and offer a pan that is 50% lighter than traditional cast iron pans on the market. The light cast iron has the same features as traditional cast iron, without any of the negatives. Our cast iron has a reinforced ceramic surface that prevents rust with no PTFE, no PFOAs and no toxic fumes, even when using high heat. The light cast iron retains and transmits heat quickly and evenly for perfect browning without needing to use a maximum heat setting. Cuisinart 722-24NS Chef's Classic Nonstick Stainless 10-Inch Open Skillet

Great skillet!, (What's this?) Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick Stainless 10-inch Open Skillet
This is a great non-stick skillet. Very balanced, good weight. Performs well. Very happy with my choice.
No Non-stick, (What's this?) I was excited when opening the box and seeing a really good-looking pan. Washed it with warm water and soap before first use. The first use was a charm. It performed just as published. Hand washed and towel dried separately. About the third use started to notice a decrease in performance. Now it doesn't seem to perform any better than cheaper brands. Also, there is an annoying clicking as it is heated. I am assuming it is the sandwiched metal expanding and contracting. I would rate heat conductivity as good.
    Love this pan..., (What's this?)
Wedding Gift, (What's this?) This item arrived timely. It seemed to be a good weight and easily handled. I bought this for a wedding gift. The bride and groom were pleased.
Great Nonstick Skillet, (What's this?) This pan looks great, cooks everything well, and is super easy to clean in the dishwasher.
Don't play Cuisinart's manipulative little games!, (What's this?) This is a decent enough non-stick frying pan, but it's also been a quite annoying.

I'd decided there's no such thing as a durable non-stick pan, & so chose this medium quality, medium price one. I had lots of 10" lids lying around, so didn't buy one at the time. I dicovered, however, that this 10" frying pan is really a 9&1/2" frying pan & none of my lids would fit. Cuisinart puts a 1/4" flange around the lip of the pan, saves a little in materials costs, and makes a little extra profit on each one sold. I guess it must add up.

So I came back to Amazon to purchase a lid, only to discover that Cuisinart only sells lids in pairs of two! What's the thinking here? Again, they make some extra money on the deal. I wound up purchasing a Faberware 10" lid (ASIN: B00006IFQS) that the Amazon reviews helpfully mentioned was a little small.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY, We purchased one of these pans about 3 years ago. Cuisinart claimed you could use metal unensils with it so we did. After about a year the coating was badly scratched and food was sticking to it. We decided it was our fault and purchased another one.

This time we never used metal with it and were very careful not to scratch it with anything. It lasted almost two years but now food is sticking to this one. No amount of cleaning helps either. The skillet still looks great but it is useless now. I've tried to contact customer service but they're not responding. Apparently their "lifetime warranty" is worthless.
Worth the money, (What's this?) This skillet is just as expected. It is great for cooking anything from eggs to meat. Clean up is a breeze.
Poorly balanced and not flat, (What's this?) I was very excited to get this... so maybe I'm more disappointed than I should be for the price. This is a heavy pan with a nice thick non stick coating... but I don't actually use the pan because the balance is off. It tips far more than my super cheap lighter weight pan. Maybe it would be better on a grill on a gas stove but if you've got an already tippy electric stove this is *not* the right pan.
Perfect for a couple eggs, (What's this?) I bought this pan almost exclusively to make fried eggs. My other pans are all stainless steel and it's just too much of a hassle to cook an egg on them. The 8" is the perfect size for two eggs, and the nonstick surface works very well.

Anolon Nouvelle Copper Hard Anodized Nonstick 12-Inch Skillet

Very nice pan, (What's this?) This is flat bottomed, and works very well with our glass topped electric stove. I can't comment on durability, because I haven't had it very long. This is very well built, has a great non stick coating, strong handles that stay cool, and cooks very evenly on my electric stove. The paperwork (or box, don't recall) say it's okay to use metal utensils with it.
Great Pan, (What's this?) I LOVE this pan. I have an Anolon set and wanted a bigger skillet. The Nouvelle Copper is an upgrade to me not solely because of the bottom material but also because the handle is attached without rivets, so the inside is smooth for cleanup. No cleaning around protruding rivets!

    Really great pan.
Favorite Skillet, This is my all-time favorite skillet. I have had the skillet for a bit over a year now. I cook nearly every day, and this is the skillet I reach for most often. It cooks very evenly, without noticeable hot spots. I like to cook using fairly high heat, and I have not found this to be a porblem. Cleanup is wonderful too, as it does not have the usual protruding rivets on the inside. I have not tried using metal utensils with this skillet -- I love it so much I would not want to take a chance on damaging it! i just inspected it under strong lighting, and did find tiny scratches on the cooking surface (hadn't noticed them before), but they are not deep, don't go through to the metal. I will probably purchase more pieces from this line.
Real great pan, (What's this?) I do alot of cooking and have tried a half dozen pans. This one is one of the best so far. It heats evenly and cleans very easily.
Induction problem..., Nice pans but the bottoms tend to want to delaminate when used on induction stove... Avoid overheating these at all costs..

Fox Run Non-Stick Folding Omelet Pan

Difficult to use, Since the Nordic Ware omelet pan got some negative ratings, I thought I would try this pan. Unfortunately, it has the same problems that plague the Nordic Ware pan:

The metal is very thin. As a result, it is difficult to get even heating so you can burn part of the omelet while other areas are not cooked. It is also essential that you use very low heat.
Awesome omelet pan!, (What's this?) I was very impressed with the Fox Run Non-Stuck Folding Omelet Pan. It was not very expensive, but the company could very well charge more for this high quality product. This was bought for my mom for Christmas and she just loves to use it. The pan is very easy to clean and it also cooks very evenly, without browning your omelet. Very good value for the price. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for an omelet pan.

Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Stainless 12-Inch Skillet with Helper

A Happy New Stainless User, (What's this?) I would actually give this 4.5 stars, but maybe not quite 5 stars because stainless does require a little babying both in heating and in cleanup. Having previously used heavy all-aluminium skillets, I must admit my first use of a stainless-clad pan was a disaster. I heated it too quickly and while it did a great job of developing a fond, I was left with a dark brown crust in the pan. Actually, it was more like a thin, glued-on film.
Great pans for the price, (What's this?)
Terrific pan, (What's this?) I have used several times by now and it's a pleasure to cook in. Medium heat for just 30 Seconds then add butter or oil and start sauté in a few seconds. Beautifully done food and excellent heat distribution. Bar keepers friend for cleaning gives it back the rich luster and shine.
LOVE this Pan!, (What's this?) I needed some new pans to add some capacity to my kitchen. We can't have Teflon due to the risk to our birds, and I dearly miss it. I have not had good luck with Stainless in the past, but aside from cast-iron which is not always practical, I had no choice.

When I was looking for a new pan, I found that there are two basic types to choose from: The ones with the thick conductive disk on the bottom, and the ones like this pan, that have a much thinner conductive layer, but that goes all the way up the sides (referred to as 'clad' as in multiclad). I already have the type with the thick disk, and because I cook with gas the sides are always way hotter than the bottom, as the flame licks up the sides and heats the relatively thin sides much quicker/hotter causing burning issues. Some will say that the thick bottom traps heat better and is good for searing steaks... But that's what my my grill is for, I wanted a pan as a daily driver so a clad stainless pan was my choice.

As for this specific pan, one question mark I've seen raised here is the handle is too small for some... And I actually happen to have the 12" Cuisinart (thick disk bottom style tho) with the same handle and have this to say: A totally crap handle to use on the 12" size, but completely fine for the 10" and 8". **SPOILER ALERT** Yes, I liked the 10" version of this pan so much, I bought the 8", and pretty much all my comments stand for both (but not the 12").
Doesn't do well with high heat, (What's this?) To effectively use stainless, it has to be heated thoroughly. Although this is a beautiful pan, the first time i heated it to fry an egg the bottom was warped after it cooled. This negates it's effectiveness on an induction heater somewhat as one needs a pretty flat bottom. Most skillets are subject to higher heat than say a 6 quart pot. I cooked another egg to see of it would go back to it's original flatness. No luck. This is unfortunate as it really is quite a beautiful pan. Back it goes. Thanks, though amazon.
Versatile Pan Completes Set, (What's this?) I added this 12 inch frying pan, with assist handle, to our stainless steel set. Our set came with an 8 inch and a 10 inch pan that left a void in the set. This pan is of the same quality as all the rest and an exceptional value. My price with promotional discounts, And Amazon Credit card points was only $49.

This set is the three layer design that allows for even heating on the bottom as well as the sides. The quality is equal to All Clad for a fraction of the price.
Great Skillet, (What's this?) After years of using "non-stick" type fry pans we decided to give the Multiclad Stainless a try. I spoke with friends regarding use of this type vs non-stick and the only thing we had to remember is to get the pan hot before adding any oil. This little hint works great and makes clean-up easy. We use this on an electric flat-top stove. The helper "loop" opposite the handle is very handy for getting a full and hot pan off the stove safely. We also noted that the pan heats very evenly even though is somewhat larger than the largest burner.
Really love Multiclad, (What's this?) I reviewed the complete 10 piece set. I love these pans. This one is a nice addition to the set I already have. It's exactly what I expected, same quality, great size, and solid design.
Description says there is a cover that seals, (What's this?) This is a nice pan. I would prefer an All Clad one, but at least this is affordable. There is no lid.
Read the pamphlet that comes with the pan, (What's this?) Excellent quality at a reasonable price. This is a heavy pan, so the handle is a great help. In reference to the title of my review, definitely read the pamphlet about the use and care of the pan. I was chugging along cooking on a high heat, wondering why food was sticking and the pan turning black. Here's what I learned - because this is professional grade cookware, it conducts heat efficiently and works best at a medium setting. Since I made that adjustment, I've had no problems. I'm especially happy to be rid of my nonstick pans. When I think of the chemicals I've put into myself and my family, I'm really remorseful. As Maya Angelou says, "When you know better, you do better." And you can't do much better than Cuisinart, especially considering the value for the money.

Swiss Diamond 6424C Covered 10-Inch Non-Stick Cast Aluminum Fry Pan

Love it!, (What's this?) Actually is non-stick, even with scrambled eggs. I heat the pan first as others suggested and use about a teaspoon of olive oil for most foods. Cleans up easily with a nylon brush and hasn't scratched at all. I like that the handle is solid and doesn't get hot, hasn't become at all loose. The glass lid is heavy and solid. Just wish I had bought a larger one than 10-inch.
the best non-stick fry pan, I really like cooking with this pan, It lives up to its billing as a NO STICK pan, much beter than teflon. I also use it with the vented top to steam. this is the 2nd swiss diamond pan I have purchase and any future pans will also be a swiss diamond product.
SWIIS DIAMOND FRY PAN, (What's this?) Excellent product. Very uniform heat distribution across the cook surface. Cool handle. Excellent surface release characteristics. Nothing burns on. After 2 months use, very satisfied. Good value for price paid.
No longer non stick, I have now owned a Swiss Diamond 12 inch, a 10 inch, and an 8 inch frypan for three years. First of all, I learned after purchase, that the coating used is the same product as Teflon, just not the brand. It is like buying generic medicines which can be exactly the same thing, but if you think you are avoiding Teflon coatings, that is not true. What appears to be true is the unique way it is applied to the fry pan.

Just like Teflon, my Swiss Diamond pans have lost their non-stick property. They are still heavy, quality, expensive cooking utensils, just no longer non-stick. My cast iron fry pans ARE still non-stick.
    Finally a non-stick that isn't fragile, (What's this?) Finally a non-stick that isn't fragile.
May (but not quite there) replace the cast-iron.
Very nice sausepan...,   | PermalinkComment Comment

5 of 6 people found the following review helpful: 4.0 out of 5 stars seems to be high quality, (
Durable non-stick that works, (What's this?) Super product. Cleanup is a breeze. The pan appears to have a really tough non-stick surface. I have only had it a couple weeks, but the performance of the pan generates confidence that it is durable.
Best purchase I ever made, (What's this?) I have an electric, ceramic smooth top stove. I finally found cookware that stays flat on my cooktop. The Swiss Diamond does a superb job of cooking and performs exacly as advertised. Cooks evenly, washes in a snap, can't ask for anything more. I think of the money I spent on other brands that warp and spin and do not heat evenly. This is well worth the price.
I wish the lid came assembled, the handle is sort of tricky to put together. Need to line up the steam spout and tighten it just right.
I also bought the 8" and the 12.5" fry pans. Got rid of all the old stuff.
    Happy cooking . . . .
