Rachael Ray Hard Anodized 11-by-9-Inch Rectangular Skillet with Cast-Iron Flat Press, Orange

Save your money. This thing is no good, I do a lot of bacon, with a Taylor & Ng cast iron press on a 12.5" T-Fal non-stick skillet.

It occurred to me that this RR product -- designed for just the above purpose -- might be useful to have, so I bought one.

Bad mistake!

I did my bacon (as usual, on relatively low heat, for about 45 minutes slow roast) and after washing my new RR skillet, I found the non-stick coating already deeply split and falling apart in 3 places.
Rachael Ray pan, (What's this?) I have a pan set from Rachael Ray and a few others. I love them all.
GREAT Skillet!, (What's this?) I am using this about four times as often as I anticipated, sometimes with the press, which works great, and sometimes without. Amazing the versatility that the shape of the skillet provides. Heavy, but not crippling. ;) I don't think anyone would have regrets about this purchase.
Love this entire set, (What's this?) We have had this set for two years now and I bought this pan for my husband 6 months ago. We have NO complaints about any of them! They clean easy (we wash them by hand) and cook evenly. An excellent value.
well worth the investment, (What's this?) I have always wanted to try this cookware but truthfully have been too cheap! I finally got this particular pan and am in love with it! I will be expanding my collection soon I hope. For the first 2 weeks this pan was literally always on the stove. You can cook anything in it and clean up is awesome. The press helps cook meats faster than I've ever seen! Bacon goes from the fridge to crisp in literally 2 minutes! It makes awesome scambled eggs too. I cannot say enough good things about it.
great pan, (What's this?) I ordered all of the Rachael Ray Pans and I have to say the quality is supurb. They clean up easily and do not stick. I bought the hard anodized or something like that. You have to cook on medium heat and no higher but the outcome of what you are preparing will make you proud. Try it I'm sure you will love it as much as I do.
Great product, (What's this?) I really like bacon but I've always had a hard time with getting it to cook evenly, that's why I purchased this pan. It really does a good job with heating evenly and the press keeps the bacon flat on the pan so the ends don't curl up and then not cook. I've also discovered that because of it's shape and non stick properties, it does a great job on french toast because you can put 4 slices in the pan at once and just like the bacon, it cooks evenly. My only complaint is that the handle on the press should have been made so that it doesn't conduct heat. After a while you have to use an oven mit to pick up the press. If the handle could be made to stay cool, I would have given it 5 stars.
Racheal Ray the best, (What's this?) You just can't beat Racheal Ray cookware products. They are the best available at a price you can afford. You want go wrong buying this product.

To craft a perfectly golden, gooey grilled sandwich, i.e. a “Sammie,” Rachael Ray conceived this pairing of a rectangular skillet and a matching cast-iron flat press. The 11-by-9-inch skillet’s rectangular body suits the angular form of many sandwiches, while the press fits neatly inside the skillet’s perimeter to apply weight to each sandwich to hasten the melting and cooking process. Manufactured in hard-anodized aluminum, the skillet distributes even heat and deflects dents, corrosion, and other wear and tear. A nonstick treatment coats the interior for greater ease while cooking and cleaning the skillet. To remove from the burner, the securely riveted handle benefits from an orange silicone rubber sleeve to give the user a secure and comfortable grip. The silicone sleeve also can sustain oven temperatures up to 350 degrees F. A pre-installed hanging hole at the skillet handle’s end expands the skillet’s storage possibilities. With cast-iron construction, the flat press obtains its necessary heft for well-pressed sandwiches. A sturdy loop handle in the center of the press assists in press application and removal. The press also can be preheated in the oven. For the best care, allow the press to cool before washing. Wash by hand both the skillet and the press and avoid using abrasive scrub pads and cleansers. Made in Thailand, the skillet-press duo is covered by a limited lifetime warranty. Including the handles, the rectangle skillet and press measure 19-1/5 by 12-3/4 by 6-4/5 inches and they weigh 12 pounds upon shipping.
